This policy explains what data Jerkmate1v1 handles when you use the service. We try to collect only what we need to run it, keep it safe, and answer your questions.

It sits beside the terms of service. If anything here is unclear, write to us from the contact page.

What we collect

Account details. Login information, your nickname, your coin balance and your purchase history.
What you do on the service. Pages visited, buttons tapped and how long you stay. We use this to fix problems and improve the site.
Device and connection details. Browser type, device type, approximate location from your network address, and technical logs.
Messages to us. What you send to support, including anything you attach.
Reports. Details of reports you make or that are made about you.

Camera and microphone

Video and Audio matches need your camera and microphone. Your browser asks for permission first, and you can withdraw it at any time in your browser settings. A live call goes between you and the other person.

We do not publish your conversations. We do not give other users your contact details. Keep in mind the other person can still repeat what you say or record their own screen, so keep personal details to yourself.

How we use it

To run the service: log you in, pair you with others and process coins.
To keep people safe: review reports, stop fraud and enforce the community guidelines.
To understand and improve the service, using analytics.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you logged in, remember simple preferences like your daily free match count, and measure how the site is used. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people use and where they leave. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some parts of the service may not work without them.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service, such as hosting, payments and analytics; when the law requires it; to protect people from harm; or with your permission. Payment details go to our payment providers; we do not keep full card numbers.

Keeping data and deleting it

We keep data for as long as we need it for the reasons above, then delete or anonymise it. Some records, such as payments and safety reports, may be kept longer where the law or fraud prevention requires it.

To ask us to delete your account and data, write to support[at]jerkmate1v1.com (replace [at] with @) from the address linked to your account. We will confirm what we can delete and what we have to keep.

Your choices

You can allow or block camera and microphone access in your browser at any time.
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Your daily free match count lives there, so clearing it resets that count on your device.
You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it.
You can close your account by writing to us.

Age and children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used the service, tell us and we will remove the account and the data.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change matters a lot, we will say so on the site.

Questions people ask

Do you sell my data?

No. We share it only with providers who help us run the service, when the law requires it, to protect people from harm, or with your permission.

Do you store my video calls?

We do not publish your conversations. Keep in mind the other person can still record their own screen.
